Transportation Benefit

Covers urgent and non-urgent ground and air travel to medical appointments for members who: 

• Do not have a ride.
• Live in areas without public transit.
• Cannot use public transit because of a mental health condition. 
• Do not live in a community care foster family home. This also includes adult residential care homes, expanded adult residential care homes, or domiciliary homes.

You must get approval before traveling outside Hawaii or using a non-emergency air ambulance.
